A series of Fortunate Events

Due to a series of fortunate events we're going to be scarce online for a few days; things are happening...some of which we'll mention later, some of which will come out down the road.

One thing I can talk about right now is that noted author and klingonist Lawrence M. Schoen has reached agreement with SRM Publisher, Ltd... do to a new Amazing Conroy chapbook for us, in time for worldcon. This will take some doing, since there's not all that much time in the publishing time frame to pull this off. Yes, we've read the story. You'll like it. It's not raining. Now that's *real* news.

My stepfather's birthday is tomorrow -- yep -- he's a firecracker! It is good that so many people celebrate with him.

Right, have to go make some ice tea, given that the sun is out.

So would that be Route 66 (with lots of kicks?)
Highway in the sky?
One of the many roads that the Clan might send one down?
or some other road less traveled?

(Now I wonder if anyone has made a collection of road metaphors in literature and song? Certainly one of the more popular ways to go!)
