While we were waltzing down and up the East Coast for SheVaCon some people were busily at work...
and a friend has been collecting signs of that and passing it on.
For example:
Local Custom sound bites from Michael Shanks
And there's this:
Which is a series of quick book summaries featuring
Crystal Soldier
among other things...
And in and among...
we see that that bn.com has Crystal Solider ranked at ... 781, up from
29,657 a few days ago. I guess they're shipping. Ooops -- now that's 753....
go us!
Oh yes,
News 11 in Texas has Crystal Soldier listed on their February books page ...
not much to look at here, really, but a list of books

2005-03-06 11:15 (UTC)As brief answer to Sharon: Crystal Soldier makes me want to read Part 2 of the Duology. It is a definite stand alone to me because it starts a whole new way of looking at the universe THEN. To me Jela is the Sentient Tree's sidekick and loyal friend. Cantra is cool enough to honor and appreciate that bond. I keep reliving Jela's walk from one fallen tree to the next; as each succeeding tree shrinks, Jela's admiration rises. Having read all the other books, it IS nice to know that Jela and the Tree survive, but it isn't necessary info.
