I read her compulsively in middle school, loved her sf stuff, wasn't as impressed with her fantasy/ Witch World series though. First book I ever bought with babysitting money was the Jargoon Pard - though I no longer have it. The only two of her books I currently own are Lavender-Green Magic and The Star Guard. Ironically, the day that one of my friends (male) told me that girls aren't supposed to read science fiction - it was one of her Witch World books that I was carrying that triggered teh comment. It was also that last day that we walked home together. I was 14. I considered her talent to be on level with Leonardo da Vinci and H.G. Wells.
