When the move didn't finish today I went to the grocery and picked up a few things...and then came home and starting the crockpot going -- includes fresh: potato, carrots, onion, mushroom, about 2 lbs of chicken tenders, along with leftover broccoli and water, a little chicken broth, some dry soup veggies, and canned diced tomato with green chili. Probably won't be done in time for our evening meal today, but it will be great to have on hand.
But that wasn't enough, I guess. Now the chocolate chip cookies are baking.
What's cooking that smells good at your house?

2010-12-08 02:34 (UTC)For frozen pizza, I can easily get plain cheese, four or five cheese, pepperoni, sausage, supreme, Hawaiian, mixed meats, barbecue chicken, marguerita (alfredo sauce, tomatoes & mozzarella), garlic chicken alfredo, and chicken fajita.
I'm spoiled.

2010-12-08 03:19 (UTC)Tonight is my first graveyard shift since ... the late 80's? I'm going to be cruel to my co-workers.
I did end up making the curry - lamb stew meat, caramelized onions, garlic, ~2 tablespoons of Penzey's Sweet Curry Powder, Normandy Blend Vegetable mix (as described above), and a can of coconut milk. We had if for dinner - it was really good! And there's enough left over that I can take it to work for lunch/supper/whatever that meal will be.
