Hmm, it does say three 'things':

Things in my kitchen but not my mother's (when I was growing up, she is now in residential accomodation):

Microwave oven
Packets of spices
Cornflour (corn starch?)

Things in hers not in mine:

Fresh vegetables
Suet
Lard
