I make a mean brussel sprout dish wherein I slice the little beasts thinly, like you would cabbage (in miniature) and then fry in oil (or bacon fat). I add garlic and lemon zest and a little lemon juice and bacon (if I don't use bacon fat). Mmmm. Even dh will eat this. You don't even need a ton of fat.
