but, other folk are busy, and so I want to share this link with you -- this is novelist Dave Freer's new page where he's trying a storyteller bowl project. Good reason for storyteller bowl? Yep ... he'd been working on a novel at the same time he was working on emigrating his family from
South Africa to Australia. All looked cool until he found out how much it would cost to move his cats and dogs ....

We've rather stringent quarantine laws I admit. Not just for stuff coming into the country but stuff moving from state to state (we've got dogs at domestic airports that sniff for contraband fruit rather than drugs)

We've had problems with the past with pests from abroad, both inadvertently and deliberately introduced (not with the best of results) so we're a bit more paranoid than some.

By the way if visitors notice that some wording (in the FAQ for example) looks remarkably similar to that on the Fledgling/Slatation site there is a reason for this. I borrowed it and modified it a bit.
