We've spotted a bunch of people:
Tom Easton, Lawrence Schoen, Mark and Priscilla from NESFA, Sharon Sbarsky, Laurie Mann, Eva Whitley....
Sue Wheeler, John Perrault,

Serge caught up with us this morning,
Saw Jim M.
saw FoL:
Myles (and wife Nancy), Debmats, Serge, Julia, and many et cetera

We've walked a very small portion of the admirable Underground City, and helped others find their way there, wee may make a hobby of walking underground city type places . .we've done it at cons in Toronto, Chicago, Salt Lake City,

Other notes: Fud, we Haz it --

we ate Italian  last night at Da Franco ... (233 Notre-Dame) ...good food (4 people, 4 different selections, 4 smiles), this morning  at
Eggspectations ...that was bet coffee we've had in Montreal. First night in we went for a quick bite at the captive "bistro" at the Embassy Suites, where we got glacial service bordering on the surly and the wrong food in a Day's Inn or college dorm cafeteria atmosphere -- not going back *there* to eat WITHOUT AN APOLOGY... to be fair, we also got the wrong breakfast at the Westin, which was probably as much the fault of this rock-and-roll reviewer's old ears, and we might go there again.... looks like Sunday morning FOL breakfast will be at Eggspectations around 8:30, as things stand now.

More, later...

This is Eggspectation as in the Restaurant Guide, on Rue St-Jaques? If I read it correctly that sounds to be somewhere near where it crosses Rue St-Francois-Xavier, non?

I hope to get to the SRMP item this morning, assuming it hasn't moved...

Wow ... we were looking for a dozen and ended up with 24 or 26, so it was a good run. I was sorry that the committee hadn't found time for us to have a kaffeeklatsch, since there were some who couldn't make breakfast and were planning on coffee ... well, there's always Oasis, DuckCon, and Nasfic to look forward too, I guess ... if not Boskone.

Hey, while you're in Montréal, would you try some poutine (fries, cheese curds, and gravy)and tell me how you like it? I've heard it's the pinnacle of delicious junk food, but I've never been able to try it. Evidently one can now get all kinds of poutine, according to http://www.montrealpoutine.com/.

Please? Pretty please? But not pretty please with sugar--that would just be too horrible with cheese curds and gravy .

We did not try this famous meal... alas, I was thinking about my upcoming annual physical, I admit.

If you enjoyed the Eggspectation eggsperience, be aware there's one in Columbia, MD just off of Rte. 100. Just don't go on Sat or Sun morning, unless you have an extra 45 mins to wait for a table.

Silly thing is that there is also one here in Maine that we've always driven by as we went someplace else out of state. Now we'll take a look when we're in the Portland area ...another destination is good, right?

Double Vision seems to be traveling well so far .. .can't wait to find the bounced books at the PO -- there are always *some* on any mailing over about 50 copies.
