Those of you who follow the publishing adventures of Lee & Miller may recall a setback this
spring when Ace decided not to continue with the previously announced re-issue of the paperback versions, meaning many Liaden Universe® books were out of print schedule, if not out of print, yes.

But, as mentioned elsewhere on the overnight, agent Jennifer reports that Baen Books wants those books, which will appear in 4 volumes -- we have not all the details yet, nor the volume titles, but we do know that the volumes will be

Omnibus One: Local Custom, Scout's Progress, Conflict of Honors
Omnibus Two: Agent of Change, Carpe Diem
Omnibus Three: Plan B, I Dare
Omnibus Four: Crystal Soldier, Crystal Dragon, Balance of Trade

And that's some news, innit?

Also? Looks like the Amazon link for reviewing Fledgling may have gone live. Sometimes they *do* go live before publication only to be turned off until actual publication date. We shall see.

Fledgling Question

Hi,

I'm sorry if this is not the correct way to contact you.

I've just received an email from a Scott Raun asking me to confirm my address for the copy of Fledgling I donated for previously. It's a bit strange as it doesn't have any introduction, salutation or identifying company details.

Is this something that is to be expected?

Thanks,

Tricia - pcamarri @ usa . net

Ah ...
wasn't sure when this was going to be starting -- Sharon told me she was going to ask for database help. Scott is a well-known volunteer who also runs the Friends of Liad mailing list. We don't usually need help but we have 1200 addresses to confirm.

Excellent news! I did not realize the books were in peril, since I have not been reading lately.

So, I posted oxblood lilies in honor of your birthday.

And, since I did not know a new book was coming out, I need to go to your website!

www.korval.com doesn't seem to have anything up about this new book. I must become a prospector and dig up info.

We've kind of moved most of the books to one big pile over on www.srmpublisher.com. Here's the link to the new one: https://www.srmpublisher.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=&idproduct=49

Ah. Explained.

I don't remember the Yule chapbook arriving, which I thought I bought. But it may have gone to W, so that's possible. Short term memory is saved for paying bills and writing notes.

Hope the new website pulls in new people!
