Beautiful day in the neighborhood

I spent the first part of the morning sitting without computer as various papers shuffled hither and yon and then... it was time for my flu shot. Call that time an investment.

Meanwhile, Theo's story got online before noon, hooray, and between chapter-work yesterday I read this:

The author of the post is Andrew Wheeler, a fairly knowledgeable guy who was my direct supervisor back in the day when I was reading/commenting for Science Fiction Book Club.

The panel discussion was a hour long.

The problem with things posted on the internet is that people can find them for YEARS afterward. I've frozen comments, because now I'm starting to get the folks who just want to break up the furniture.
