Cleaned up some of the tomato plants this morning, moved the humming bird feeder pole out of harms way, did some minor PR stuff, have an afternoon meeting in town, stuff to pack this morning. Will catch you if I can.

To give this a suitable science fiction slant, we can say, "think of it as evolution, in action," which is attributed to Niven and Pournelle in "Oath of Fealty."

Here in L.A. we seem to bump off at least one person a week in pedestrian/train accidents. It's beyond me how this happens. My opinion of the average intelligence of the populace goes down for each one killed.
