Right, right there it is -- another lucky fellow...

OK, I'm off to the city in a few minutes, and who knows, more progress may be made on several fronts... cross fingers.
I had a library trustee meeting last night that went overtime. Amazing how interesting the mechanics and necessities of book drops can be.
Anyhow, in between things the last few days I've been running a book or two behind Rolanni's pursuit of reading the whole of Girl Genius in perfect bound format ... yesterday I took the last of lunch as a break and finished book 7. Fannishly, I can't wait for Book 8. (Hurry up, gang!).
As time permits, more.

2008-09-17 14:35 (UTC)The crossing near my house is broken-ish.......
it goes down, but does not rise every time.........
so for HOURS everyday, cars line up behind the barrier and wait...
and wait...
and finally get frustrated enough to cautiously scoot around the gates.
Now, I love trains
and I love a good joke
but really, someone should fix this,
before someone gets hurt.
