Liaden Universe(R) InfoDump #57, the sovereign cure for winter blahs
THE BOOK IS IN THE MAIL
Holiday chapbook, that is! All of the _Allies_ pre-orders have now been shipped, and we have reports of some already arriving at their intended destinations. There was some delay -- a little over a week -- due to flu passing through the Lee-Miller household just before Thanksgiving, but all is in order now.

ALL-NEW LIADEN UNIVERSE(R) NOVEL
Sharon Lee and Steve Miller are pleased to announce that we will be serializing Liaden Universe(R) novel _/Fledgling/_ on the web starting January 22, 2007. This novel is so new that it hasn't even been written yet. We'll be using a modified chapter-a-week schedule which depends in part on reader interest and support.
For those who have read _/I Dare_/, this will be the story of Theo
Waitley, who had a "kind of complicated" problem to lay before the delm of Korval.

PRE-ORDERS OPEN FOR LIADEN UNIVERSE(R) COMPANION VOLUME 2
SRM Publisher is now taking pre-orders for the next compilation of Liaden Universe (R) short stories. Volume Two will include nine stories: Changeling, Phoenix, Heirloom, Naratha's Shadow, Veil of the Dancer, Quiet Knives, This House, Lord of the Dance, and Sweet Waters.
Your advance subscription helps guarantee publication of this book. Projected publication date is August 10, 2007.

The chapbooks containing these stories will be allowed to go out of print after they sell through regular printings throughout 2007.

LIADEN UNIVERSE(R) COMPANION VOLUME ONE AND GUNSHY UPDATES
The first printing of Maine mystery _Gunshy_ by Sharon Lee is in its last case. SRM Publisher expects to reprint in early February. The author is also being asked about book number three....
In the meantime, negotiations are underway for production of a mass market sized edition of _Liaden Universe(R) Companion Volume 1. Expect more news of this edition in February.
