Well .. need to go get some more bird food, because ...

Tonight .... Cloudy. Snow after midnight. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Saturday...Snow. Snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches. Saturday Night ....Snow showers likely. Additional light snow accumulation possible.

Did I mention it was 34 below zero F in Northern Maine, Waterville was -6F and our remote thermometer said -17F this morning? Trifle chilly, it was.

Other news:

we've sent the first run of adjustments to Duainfey on to Baen; I'm sure there'll be more. The work on the new SRM Catalog page goes slowly, but well. Longeye is moving slowly at the moment, see above re wrist.

We have in hand some photos from Boskone ... hope to make up a page for them eventually. Feel free to remind me.

so, a PO run for sure, and then a stop at the food store and the bird food supply superstore.

Hadn't run across that -34 figure -- coldest report I saw on TV was -28...

Cold enough for ya?

When I got up and got online at 5:45 am or so....I checked

http://www.wunderground.com/US/ME/

and it was either Ashland or Frenchville...

and it is almost cold enough -- we have 16F now and Frenchville is showing 6F .. the thing i worry about is having enough room for the plowguy to put more snow -- the wall of snow beside Sharon's car is already higher than the roof of her car... and almost higher than the Subaru with roof racks....

and having said that, the plowguy has come by and is making room, so that wall is now bounced down to 46 or 48 inches.
