Had dinner, which brought me up from the warehouse, where I've been packing Dragon Tide for an early morning rendezvous with the post office.

During dinner it became apparent that the version of the chapter I cited yesterday was not version we were pulling the teaser from. Oh, go Steve.

Thus, a change in the wordcountometer

5307 / 111111 words. 5% done!

And oh yes, the squirrel baffle I installed this morning is working, so far. Now I need at least one more.

I think you are missing the right angle bracket on your first center command -- or some piece of syntax, anyway. Here is your error message:

And it is the dump of the raw contents that makes it appear twice.

And oh yes, the squirrel baffle I installed this morning is working, so far.
Not that I have a place that needs one right now, but a squirrel baffle that actually keeps them out if they really want to get there? I think I'd like to see that.

I highly recommend the "Squirrel Buster Plus" - I got one as a present and bought another. My squirrels (and I have a lot of them) have finally given up even trying to get seed. Believe me I tried many other solutions and baffles before this solution and nothing was completely squirrel proof - this feeder IS!!
And, no I don't have any stock in the company that makes them.
