Changes underway -- patience please.

While I'm spending a lot of time in the warehouse basement warehouse packing Dragon Tide we also have a crew working on our web presence. The SRM catalog is going, so is a lot of the korval.com stuff, and some of the email addresses.

Change is. These things will take time; if you lose track of us for a day or two it may well be because of the efforts of minions, associates, assistants, and contractors. It could be because I've pushed a wrong button because I'm learning new systems, wholesale.

Meanwhile, the cardinal is on the deck rail waiting for the quail to get out of the bird food dish. Temp this morning when I last looked was -7F ... which is the perfect time for the guy from the oil burner place to come turn everything off for the annual maintenance.

Some people get their oil burners serviced in the summer...

The oil burner service is an artifact of the old oil-burner company going belly up... and us needing a service contract in a hurry because the old oil burner company's summer service didn't maintain a ******* thing.

Birds are strange

Wife says that your quail are probably farmed birds, either escaped or deliberate release. 'Tain't natural.

You hadn't heard that the gov'mint is raising genetically modified birds and releasing them to support all those wild rumors about global warming? See, the birds are modified to come out at the wrong season and in the wrong weather, so that birdwatchers around the world will conclude that the times they are a-changing, and spread the word among their friends, which will bring in bazillions in ecology studies for the military-industrial complex.

What conspiracy theory? They are all out to get us.
