You say you're thinking about being a writer?... and you have time on your hands? Want some practice?

Here's the thing: we've been informed of a grant we probably qualify for. We're also working at close to crush on other projects. While some of the grant info has been filled out, it turns out they need/want/desire/insist on ...a synopsis. Of Crystal Soldier. Oh, maybe 10 to 15 pages worth.

For some reason that escapes me (or maybe not) ... we've never written a synopsis of Crystal Soldier.

So, Mr. Phelps, your mission, if you'd like to attempt it, is to write A Synopsis of Crystal Soldier. By Friday. Heh. Sigh and double sigh.

Me, I'm *still* working on Fledgling *and* the story for JBU while Sharon is chugging along on the fantasy novels.... so this may not happen. We *both* hate synopsizing stuff.

Oh, and that pin ... looks like this, understand it is shiny, really, the dark field is an effect of lighting
This is of a size that it can be used a tie tac, a collar pin, or on a necklace (some of this require adaptation, understand.

Hi! You and Sharon should have gotten a large order from me by now, I hope. I am VERY interested in a hardback copy of Partners in Necessity, BUT I will only pay an outrageous price for it if the money is going to the two of you.
Have you thought about a "Fledgling" type project for the second book of The Tomorrow Log? I am assuming that it is on indefinite hold? I can't read Fledgling, yet, because I can't get an eye appt until July and my eyes hurt to read after awhile. I am really looking forward to it.
Best of luck to the two of you,
Joy W Wilson (formally of Wauchula, Florida)

One of the great benefits of html is that you can bump the size in the browser (and Fledgling is not posted with fixed sizes, so this works!). I have to admit, I've been doing that recently and find it makes reading a bit easier (which probably is a sign that I need to get my glasses checked, but . . . )

You might try reading it that way. It can be easier on the eyes.

In order ...

the Partners in Necessity on ebay is our deal. We're slowly trying to get some income from these things we've rescued from Stone Mountain ... at the same time we get other work done...thanks for your support!

As for Web of the Trident as the "next" Fledgling type thing ... aside just getting past the understanding of the potential legal things stemming from remaining unpaid, and the resultant need for Sharon to be working full-time at a college while we try to get our financial house in a little clearer order, we're not sure there's room in our schedule for a "next" storytellers bowl type novel any time soon.

We've got contracts/agreements/plans right now for two fantasy novels, a novella in progress, Liaden Universe Companion #2, a mystery novel by Sharon, a full-size collection of our non-Liaden short stories, the Liaden Universe chapbook for the holiday season, making LUC#1 available in a different format, and ... if Web of the Trident does show up as a project it's likely three to five years away.

Thank you, Steve. I would venture to predict that the time it takes to get this all cleared up will be inversely proportional to the number of lawyers involved. Sigh...
As for my support on ebay, you're welcome and I am having a lot of fun with it. I've never done ebay before, so this is new to me.
