Actually, given all the places LJ could have put it, having it at least in a related place is comforting. Imagine where else that posting might have ended up!

Bizarre thought, but I know that various Baen authors post snippets and even larger chunks of books over in that venue. Would it make sense to post some pieces of Fledgling over there to help people find it? I'm not sure what the protocol is, but there have been snippets strewn across other conferences from time to time. Kind of like chumming, I suppose.
