OK, been busy, but my addiction with space is being fed by Live NASA TV coverage of spacewalks ... sigh.
Monday I did not go to chess.
Tuesday I packed and delivered many orders to Post Office.
Wednesday worked around home on various projects.
Thursday so far... went to Winslow for the transmission flush plus a check on the tie-rod, which needs work RSN... while there...turned on my linux laptop and freespire cheerfully found the local wifi and then when I triggered gaim with my livejournal I found several Friends of Liad were online ... so I compared weather conditions (cold and some flurries on our end) between Waterville and locations in the UK (enough snow to cancel school).
Away to Unity for a mail run next...

2007-02-08 17:05 (UTC)Deep Freeze in Montreal
2007-02-08 17:20 (UTC)in Montreal, Canada
It's been very cold on Montreal for the pass week. Currently it -25C/-13F with the wind chill. This is actually the warmest for the entire week. It not the cold that bothers people as much as the 25kph/16mph Arctic blast from the West.
Hope the folks in the Mid-West is keeping warm. Also the sufferers of the lake effect snow storms to the East of of Lake Ontario.
Well got to go out shopping in the cold.

2007-02-08 19:54 (UTC)The thing I like about all this cold (keep reading!!!) is that it means we actually have had days in a row, yes multiple, days of SUN! Michigan winters are usually grey, grey and more grey with lake effect snow. Arctic highs mean we actually get to see the sun during January and February a very rare event.
