The amount of work done today -- modest.
Talked story stuff while on the road, replaced non-working night light, drove to mountains, drove toward home the long way... through Carthage and Fairbanks. Picked up an early dinner, returned home, ate, ended up cleaning files with near duplicate names (hence much confusion) from machine. Fed cats. Cleaned cat boxes. Shower and a glass of wine. Have yet to hear from my father, who lives on Trasure Island (circa St. Pete/Tampa/much ocean and vowed to stay home with the cats. Other than concern for Dad, a slow, low-key kind of lazy day.

2004-09-27 14:14 (UTC)A strange worldcon for me in some ways -- I actually came close to getting enough sleep, and didn't come down with the con cold or flu. Being memorable at worldcon has several faces, BTW -- Andy Offutt was memorable for speech at one worldcon, for example, and it colors people's memory even now...
