Next weekend

Next weekend there will be lots of things to do in Maine...
Hard choices, too.
For one thing, there's going to be a walk. Actually, let's call it a bridge walk the likes of which has not been seen this century...... and that's a few miles up the road (say an hour) from us here in the Fortress of Solitude/Cat Farm and Confusion Factory.
Then, there's also going to be a cat show. A new, first time ever cat show in Saco, Maine. You should find the information here... ... and I'll note that the location is within 12 minutes of some nice beaches as well. That's around an hour and half down the road.
Hard choices!
Meanwhile, I was looking at a couple slices of fairly dense meatloaf sitting in a tiny bit of left over sauce in the refrigerator... and then: viola ... inspiration.
So while I made a 60/40 mix of medium shells and garden rotini pasta I also whomped the meatloaf into chunks and added a can of diced tomato (with balsamic vinegar and garlic) and heated with a touch more water and a couple tablespoons of olive oil... and served the sauce-and-loaf on top the pasta with freshly shredded Parmesan.
Now, to work.

I expect we'll be take the low road, south to Saco, on account of our favorite copy-editor has sudden plans to visit the same show, coming in from NY with a van-full of ribbon-seeking cats and a yen for lobster at a restaurant we have previously praised within her hearing...
