I arrived at the dentist, early, to discover that my appointment is postponed, to next week sometime.

I am disappointed, to say the least. I was dismayed, at best.

Yet another delay.

Well... our answering machine doesn't seem to have the note they say they left. We *did* have a short power outage so it;s possible they called. I guess.

I'm working with split personality, alas: the business checks need to go into the business account, the (out of state) royalty checks have to go into the bank and age for a week before they can be cashed... all the delays add up.

Well, hmmm. I think each delay means my mouth functions sub-optimally for that much longer. I guess insterad of being half empty or half full my glass has a leak in it...
