Well... hmmm....

the timing of the Friends of Liad breakfast is usually decided once we get to the convention, but since it isn't a world con, NASFIC, or DragonCon (with their 4 or 5 day schedule), Saturday or Sunday look like the choices, and since we haven't seen schedules yet it's hard to know how early we'd be on deck officially.

Let me cast my mind back to other regional cons we've been guests at... one ShevaCon we did the FoL breakfast on Sunday, at another one we did it on Saturday. At ConDUIT...I think it was Sunday because the con had a breakfast gig for guests one day.

At AlbaCon we did a walk-out to lunch on Saturday since the old con hotel (they have a new one) had a restaurant that served pop-up toaster potato things as hashbrowns and toaster waffles. I can't recall what day the first FoL breakfast was -- that would have been at SiliCon, or maybe Bucconeer. At TrinoCon I think breakfast was Saturday. At BaltiCon breakfast was Saturday. When Boskone was in Framingham we usually did an FoL breakfast on Saturday; since it's back in Boston we've done one on a Sunday and one on a Saturday... and I'm leaving convetions out...

Key for us: having a chance to take a short break between breakfast and our first official event of the day. Since our bodies will still likely be on Eastern time I suspect we'll be ready for breakfast by 8 AM or so... as long as we're not set for a 9AM reading or panel.
