Re: color laser printers - I don't have one to recommend, as I am in the market for one, myself. I will strongly recommend against the mid-range Brather color laser printers, tho'. I got one for my office (vet clinic) this time last year, based on the 10,000 pages per toner cartridge rating on the package. I didn't get nearly that many pages, the cartridges were in the range of $160 each (for the black ones; color ones were more), and I had do get them by special order (the local store didnt' carry them). Then there was the OPC belt. You see, that one part (which we needed within 6 months) was roughly equal to the cost of getting another printer ($400 to $600, depending on the source when I did a web search). And the kicker? No one had one available - I tooke the printer down, and ended up using a color inkjet (not especially happy about that, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper for now).
I personally have been keeping an eye on the HP color laser printers, based on my being able to get supplies for them readily thru a national chain that has a store close to me.
As for the kitten hording the food and water bowls: tho' feeding Patia separately is a pain, it's the surest way to make sure everyone eats. You might get by with widely separating the bowls (ie, put several bowls down, maybe in different rooms). Or restricting Dulsey when the bowls are filled - hopefully, Dulsey will grow out of this stage soon :-)
