When a star's death inspires

This is a true story, but it isn't mine. A local teacher was in the right place at the right time and was part of a group visiting Kitt's Peak when a star... but here, here's the story......

I'm wondering if there's some way I can help -- three different astronomy clubs have started and died in the last few years around here... it's that critical mass stuff.

meanwhile, PageMaker and I are in an uneasy truce. Sigh.
