Geeze. A life-time insurance cap of $250,000, as one man was reported to have, isn't insurance, it's a con game. My cousin's son got swine flu and wound up with a million in hospital bills. If his health insurance had cut off at $250K, he'd either be dead or the evil!government would have had to cover his bills. As is, the state of Michigan had to cover some of the bills, which they did because he's under 18 and was hospitalized for more than thirty days.

I still can't believe that some of 'you people' don't want universal health care. That said, I cannot understand how a case of swine flu can cost $1 million in hospital bills... who sets these costs, anyway????

The problem is that swine flu can go really bad on people; we know a writer who lost his wife to the disease.
