I declared a run to the ocean yesterday

Still waiting for the last of the paperwork pieces to fall into place for mailing Saltation next week; since it wasn't in the early mail yesterday I declared a run to the ocean, which we did -- and yes, i much prefer Old Orchard Beach to Daytona, based on a short too-hot summer exposure to the the latter.

Today, Saltation at the center of things for me, and maybe a call from the vet -- hex is going for a visit soonest, if not today, then Monday.
