This is true...
woke up this morning expecting the last vestige of the most hidden snowpiles on the property to be gone, victims of the rain.
Instead, we have about an inch or so of fresh snow and ice overlaying everything, and a forecast saying:
Snow...changing to rain this morning ...
and
... Tonight: Rain or snow. Lows in the mid 30s. North winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
And as I look out the window in the gloom, yes, snow is still coming down.
Yesterday we returned Budgetmobile to the care of Charlie and Son -- the closest Budget truck rental place, about 40 miles north of here -- and then drove south well over 100 miles to see the ocean/seawrack at Old Orchard Beach in the midst of the Noreaster....
sigh, trees down, roof shingles flapping in the breesze or flying off the tops of buildings, more than one metal roof peeling away and threatening passersby, downed trees and portions of trees in yards, on roads... and a zillion gallon of seafoam on the beach...
...today I need to run to Augusta to get back into the normal swing of things... in thew April snow.
