As we were pretty busy at COSine I didn't have all that much time to unlimber my camera, but I did manage a couple shots...

Above is sort of the scene of the con, with mountains snowcapped behind us. I stood in the middle of the road for the shot below... it was a quiet Sunday, with nearly everyone in town glued to the tube watching the Broncos self-destruct...

Below in a quiet moment, Con Chair Mem Morman and registration guru Ted Monogue in the Clarion lobby.

and then in the same lobby...

Writers Wil McCarthy, Rebecca Lickiss and Alan Lickiss kick back...

and then Carrie Vaughn arrives...

Must be some more pic on another memory card around here somewhere... in the meantime, let it be said we had a great time, both at the con and in the various side-runs the committee and friends made with us. Now I'd like to get back in the area sometime when all the local trains are running... is there a spring or summer con in the greater COS/Denver region, anyone?

Very odd week this week, what with getting the fixes for Balance of Trade's Ace edition out of the way and then running face to face with a lot of "going to do this one day" things that were convincing.

So, committed to cleaning stuff out of the way, we've been busy. I've applied to be a speaker through the folks at AboutSF.com; we've been answering some questions and working with the PenguiCon folks on some early planning for that April convention, I've started to get a new we domain in order, I've been working on a short story due RSN, and just got in (not one but TWO!) books on modern HTML/CSS/XHTML.

Later today, in this blog, some photos from COSine. If you've got any from the con you'd like to share, do let us know...
