Good news and delays...

We're back from the BEA -- a realy worthwhile event for us... met many people, saw numerous old friends, and had a number of memorable meals. That part was good.

Having the airconditioner fail on our train coach on the way home in 90 degree heat was a bummer... yet the overall reaction here is: in general a great time in the city...

...but I arrived home with a slight fever, sore throat, and suffed nose...which means the oral surgeon's office has decided to delay the mouthwork scheduled for tomorrow. Sigh...

Elsewise, we should hear sometime soon on details of the discussions between agent and publisher -- they're both in transit today and so maybe Wednesday we'll have some timetables.

So off to the PO and such and then home again and more details.
