Other things done in the day -- the Yule display in the yard got mostly done, including the the timer, the tree, the bush... the old and cranky CD burner that's been sitting in a drawer went on the Linux box downstairs, where the USB connection was working wonderfully and instantly and I burnt a CD from files immediately. This, of course, the CD burner I couldn't get to work right with Win 98. Sigh. Now we have three working CD burners in the house.
I'm being bugged by Patia, who wants to be fed *right now,* dammit.
And pages to go before I sleep.
