"Severe Thunderstorm Watch 500 in effect until 10 PM EDT this evening... chance rain
Rest of Today Mostly sunny. Scattered showers and thunderstorms late this afternoon. Some thunderstorms may be severe with large hail and damaging winds."
Right now radar shows 5 storms, with two within shouting distance and one bearing ....right down on our place. Standing on a breezy and humid 80-some degree deck ... I can hear thunderrrr growling in two directions with bright sun all about.
We shall make sure charge is up on the laptops.
