I'm curious - is the bad quote from the printer who knew what he was doing or from the other guys?
And we discovered the light side of lumber measurements when remodeling an attic once. The original house was built with 2x4s (oak) that were actually 2" x 4" - and you can't get anything like that measurement now unless you buy custom cut lumber.
