Idle hands and all that stuff ...
When the move didn't finish today I went to the grocery and picked up a few things...and then came home and starting the crockpot going -- includes fresh: potato, carrots, onion, mushroom, about 2 lbs of chicken tenders, along with leftover broccoli and water, a little chicken broth, some dry soup veggies, and canned diced tomato with green chili. Probably won't be done in time for our evening meal today, but it will be great to have on hand.
But that wasn't enough, I guess. Now the chocolate chip cookies are baking.
What's cooking that smells good at your house?

One with chicken mince, 1/2 a red capsicum (which I think you might call a red pepper), celery, carrots, ginger, onions, sesame seeds and Yackandandah honey soy simmer sauce.
I will serve this with rice.
The other with chicken mince, chopped tinned tomatoes, Italian herbs, zucchini, onion, garlic, celery, balsamic vinegar, sugar and the other half of the red capsicum.
I will serve this with crusty bread (gluten free, as is everything I'm cooking here, rdmasters, my husband is a coeliac) or with buckwheat noodles or similar.
Both smell absolutely wonderful.

I don't know what supper is going to be - probably more boring.
Dinner tomorrow will be better - lamb stew meat curry, with Normandy Blend veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots & summer squash). I may get ambitious and also make coconut rice pudding (short or medium grain rice, coconut milk, milk and sugar - hmm, I wonder if I have enough milk?).
