A pause for lunch -- and TWO flowers

Somewhere between 8:30 and 11:00 am the temps rose and the flowers popped -- two of them.

Wonder if they make an actual popping sound?

Back to work after lunch.

daylilies and science fiction names

As a new reader/poster to Live Journal but a long time reader of the Liaden novels, I wanted to ask if you would consider permission to name a daylily (or daylilies) after characters from the Liaden novels? I am an backyard hybridizer -nothing to register yet but I have hopes of better daylilies in the future.
