Theo Tweeting Today Through Friday

Dear LJ users ...

I little bit of techno overload today, since Theo is tweeting ... wheee ...

Theo has the front and center this week at the baenbooks twitter account, where she's tweeting about 5 times a day, mostly with short, pithy, I think non-spoiler kinds of things ... if you want you can find them repeated on my Facebook profile page: http://www.facebook.com/kinzel

Since this blog is mirrored there (on Facebook) I shouldn't mirrror the Facebook page here or we'll run out of electrons.

For the benefit of those of us who Twitter lightly, and do not do Facebook at all, what is the Baen twitter account ID?

no hable twitter or tweet, but

http://twitter.com/#search?q=baenbooks

seemed to get the right thing, sort of.

That only got me a search page (and typing in baenbooks to that just got me another one)...

bizarre. clicking on it, or submitting to the search gets me a listing including:

"I don't have an attitude problem," Theo told him, but Chelly only laughed again.

"Key," Theo said around a growing coldness in her stomach, adding "You can't find current flight time because my father is a retired pilot."

After she'd been pushed into Advanced Power she'd hear mock-cloned "Not good, Theo," half-whispered or louder as she walked the airfield ...

It was blood, but not much of it, and the game had still been going strong when Theo left. "Not dripping. I'll clean it," she promised Asu.

Academy note - Saltation: That which proceeds by leaps rather than by smooth and orderly progression. See details: http://alturl.com/zhjf

Theo Waitley laughed, engulfed by blue sky and billowing clouds. They hadn't outlawed happy at the Academy, and flying was a happy thing.

Ah, Javascript. It requires all three of twitter, googleapis and twimg to be enabled.

I don't do Facebook. I don't go near them, ever (I don't trust Facebook further than I can throw the owners, and I'm not very strong). So unless it means lots of extra work please do feel free to mirror things here if they are different.

No, seriously, we'd set up a loop. Basically the tweets are slightly compressed 120-144 character excerpts from Saltation the printed book.

Ah, we don't want to create a Loop, we know what that did to Val Con!

I guess I'll just have to wait for the book...

(I did actually go to your Facebook page, but no further, I'm neither turning on Javascript for that site nor logging into it.)

Actually, I think I can capture the tweets from Steve's facebook account and post them to my LJ, if that'll be of use.

Let me see what I can do, in and around.

Thanks, I can see them there...

Run out of electrons?

Maybe we need a Facebook/Twitter running on the Clutch's Electron Substitution Drive.

:)
Running away,
