AFB: Away from blog

I'm working on a couple of projects and, because of the ghods of calendars, I've got an overlapping periodic medical exam that may take me out of circulation for a day or two. Blegh. Worse, no red jello -- only non-red jello, broth, clear liquids, water and ... Gatorade? Why in the name of exalted tastebuds would I want to drink 96 ounces of Gatorade in a year, much less in a marathon one day session?  Sigh.  Well, we are all tested at times.... and I'll be back on blog sometime over the weekend.

Meanwhile, today a few more Fledglings should hit the mail, and I've already got a mixed bag of about 30 orders with Misfits going out. Will do that and pack some more today, do some shopping for necessaries, have a library meeting tonight, and late sandwich or something, and then start my liquids only fast with all that entails.  I foresee some writing and some reading over the next few days.

Catch you around.

I have it on good authority that the preparation for the procedure is far worse than the procedure itself. But then again, they judged the sedatives well enough that he has no memory of said procedure.

Well Friend, Good luck with the coming ordeal.
If you studied hard and paid attention in class, the test should be a breeze!

Good Luck with your exam. I hope you got the pill form of the prep as opposed to the nasty powder that must be taken with huge quantities of some liquid, that you'll never want to drink again. Pill is much easier to ingest.

Good luck with it and pray that a single day is enough for the prep. If this doesn't work there's the 2-day prep which is worse (been there, done that). The pills are vastly better than the gallons of gatorade-like substance.

People who drink the stuff say that the lemonade Gator Ade is ok.

Good luck!

Prep is definitely the worst part. And I speak from personal experience. Make sure someone drives you home and keeps an eye on you the rest of the day. My dad ended up in the hospital several hours post procedure from internal bleeding. EMT's had to break down the door to get to him after my sister-in-law got worried he wasn't answering the phone.
