Situation serious, coffee low

Right, almost out of coffee. Worse, I'm in a bind because I need to wait for the Fedex guy to bring us the (we hope!) final copy-edits for Duainfey. Guess I'll go to Pepsi for Plan B.

Weather folks missed the call for our our place over the weekend, so snow was minimal and rain was continuous. Result, some local flooding .. .but not on our road, so far.

The Fledgling tease is out: sorry if it looks short, I had to rush since I also have a conference call with the webguy this morning. Cross fingers.

More later, webguy call in two minutes.

I read 'copy-edits' as 'coffee-edits' *g*...

WHat is the Teaser?

Was OK... I remembered we still had one of those silly "4 cup" coffee pillows. Amazing that some people think a coffee cup and shot glass are the same size...

My stepfather couldn't understand why the pot said "four" cups and he only got 1.7 cups from his half of the pot. I had to literally stand there and measure the amount of liquid that would fit in his cup, compare it with a normal cut, then point to the demi cups hanging up (that we never use) and tell him that four of THOSE cups is what the silly manufacturer of pots is thinking of...
