re breakfast: There is a not very good Denny's across the street from the hotel. Last year, the hotel had a brunch, but their dining management seemed to be in a constant state of flux so it is hard to predict what they will be doing this year. There are restaurants within walking distance downtown if you are reasonably fit. I'll have a car, and we could probably borrow my husband's car as well.
