Short bits -- St. Louis?

Well there ... we have two day lilies today, hooray... and a very hot day. Blecch.

Also, a traveling FoL asks me about St. Louis -- anyone here good for pointers or a website for a visitor?

My lilies are all dead already. It saddened me, because they mostly bloomed while I was at CONvergence.

When I visit St. Louis in October we are going to their zoo. (http://www.stlzoo.org) They have two baby asian elephants! One is 2.5 the other just turned 3. Very much still small elephant kids.

We still have a handful of orange day lilies in the more shaded areas of the flowerbed.
