It is a very odd list. There are some books that are excellent and easy to read (The Hobbit?) or extremely interesting and also very readable (Gun Germs & Steel and Freakonomics). But there are others that I totally understand why they're on this list...

Any thoughts on how to mark things if you realized you'd never read them, so didn't buy them?
