We enjoyed the interview -- glad you found it interesting. We try to let people know that the process of writing and the business of writing are very different adventures.

I'm afraid some really excellent writers aren't up to the business end, which I heard first hand from an award winner who complained to me (back in the late 1970s) that all the "extra money" he got from his award-winning short story being anthologized across the known galaxy could be spent in a single two week vacation, and so he was giving up on writing as no one sane could expect to make a living at it.

No doubt he was correct.
