I have two or three telephone tables. All of them are employed as .....telephone tables! I refuse to run for the telephone or tote it around with me, so I have 5 (or is it 6?) spread over three floors. Only one is a cordless (so the teenagers can look for it, when they don't put it away). I prefer to use the umbilical corded excuse to take a break from running up and down the stairs! I've also just discovered the joy of the speaker phone. I can sit next to the phone (in the seat provided by the tele-table) and not make my headache worse.
