Deer

Deer do not like plants with fuzzy gray foliage. Shepherd's ear comes to mind, and others in that family. It may not be practical to surround the lily bed with large plantings, however. We used to wrap trunks of young trees with aluminum foil, won't be practical for individual day lilies. Joan C
